A HUGELY untapped marketing goldmine for your camp could be the Grandparent segment. For one thing, grandparents may be raising the kids of a relative. For another, in the midst of a weak economy, more parents turn to their parents to assist with camp tuition.
How many ways can you think of to market your camp to grandparents? I can think of a bunch. I’m not wasting a minute’s time, either. I’ve always allocated some of Aloha Beach Camp’s marketing budget to grandparents. But I’m increasing it even more this year.
If you’re not marketing to grandparents, you should think about doing so before your competition beats you to it.
