I’m assuming your camp kicks ass. Otherwise you’re in the wrong business. Nobody’s gonna send their kids to a camp that sucks. If your camp’s a winner, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Here’s why I’m saying this.
A fearful camp director called me on my cell phone recently saying she was afraid of competition. I told her what I’m telling you now: FEAR NO ONE.
We’re all going after the same kids, but there are enough kids to go around. Not only that, the cream always rises.
If you’re marketing your program right and creating happy campers, quit worrying and keep doing what you’re doing. You’ll be fine.
If you’re fearful of other camps, find something else to do.
