This might seem strange to you, but it could be a great marketing strategy for your camp. This idea is especially beneficial if your camp sells out each year. I learned about this from Jay Abraham, one of the most successful marketers in the world.
Here’s the deal. Even though your camp sells out each season, you probably still get inquiries from interested family prospects. Maybe they’re calling for availability or want to sign up for camp. But can’t accommodate them because you’re full. So what do you do?
First, you get all their contact information. Then you either:
1) recommend others camps for a fee, or
2) sell the leads off to other camp directors.
Set up this arrangement with various camps in your area ahead of time. You could make a few extra bucks, and everyone wins.
