Where and How to Post Videos Online

If you post videos of your camp online (which I HIGHLY recommend doing), you’re obviously familiar with YouTube. If you don’t have a YouTube account, I suggest getting one and posting your videos today.

Not only is is easy and free, but your camper prospects are on YouTube EVERY DAY looking for cool videos to watch and share with their friends. If you’ve got an appealing video, you could be on the fast track to making your camp’s marketing message go viral.

Here’s another reason why you should post camp videos online. Since Google owns YouTube, your camp may appear higher in Google’s search result rankings even when users conduct a basic content search.

YouTube is not the only video site to use. Check out Vimeo and DailyMotion, too. And don’t forget to add videos to your website, blog, facebook and myspace pages. Each of these are VERY LIKELY places your camp might get seen on the Internet.
